2016 UF Water Institute Symposium ,

UF WI Symposia on sustainable water resources bring together individuals from a variety of institutions, disciplines and perspectives in an exciting venue of new knowledge, interdisciplinary exchange and dialogue on new science, technology, and policy. This is the 5th biennial UF WI Symposium and will focus on understanding trends, cycles and extreme events and their consequences for human, agricultural and natural systems. The keynote speaker is Dr. James Famiglietti, UC Irvine professor and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Senior Water Scientist, whose research has focused on changes in the global hydrologic cycle and the global depletion of groundwater.

The 5th biennial Symposium once again promises to be a dynamic forum for sustainable water resource science, technology and policy. Don’t miss the chance to submit an abstract for the 5th biennial UF Water Institute Symposium scheduled for February 16 and 17, 2016 at the UF Reitz Union.
