Project Detail
Project COAST (SWFWMD) |
Goals and Objectives | ||||
Project COAST, a coastal water quality monitoring program, was implemented originally to provide early warning system of ecological changes that might negatively impact seagrasses in the estuaries and nearshore waters along the Springs Coast of Florida. Data collected provides insight into the spatial and temporal ranges of variation of eutrophication-related parameters. Surfacewater is collected from Weeki Wachee, Chassahowitzka, Homosassa, Crystal and Withlacoochee rivers and estuaries. | ||||
