Cooperative Graduate Research Assistantships between the Florida Water Resources Research Center, South Florida Water Management District and the UF Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department |
Goals and Objectives |
The goal of this project is to establish a long term Assistantship Program between the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the University of Florida’s Hydrologic Sciences Academic Cluster (HSAC) administered by th UF Water Institute. This project is an initial step to the creation of a long-term applied research mechanism to develop innovative solutions (primarily in computer code format), in direct support of the Hydrologic & Environmental System Modeling Department (HESM). This particular contract will provides funding to support UF/ABE assistantship activities to conduct sensitivity and uncertainty analyses of the RSM model and to develop ecological algorithms for the RSM model. |
